(In the village Singhwahini, Sitamarhi district, one of the 115 aspirational districts): Singhwahini was reckoned with very low level of literacy. In the field of education, undeterred by the awaiting challenges, ADB Foundation took the initiative of classes for the children of the village who were earlier deprived of support of qualified teachers. Under this initiative, the foundation had established 3 education centres in the village where free and basic education had been provided to over 500 children. The outcome of this initiative was that twelve girls from these centres qualified their matriculation examination in the year 2015(first time in the history of this village).
Education is indeed the most powerful weapon to change the world. Children must be taught, to study, to strive and to think. Our team along with the villagers made it possible using smart study tools. 500 students are currently able to utilize this system and th
