The Open Defecation Free program run by Ap Deepo Bhava Foundation in association with UNICEF (United Nations) in Singhwahini Panchayat, Nepal Border Region- proved to be immensely successful and gained Nationwide attention.

The program aimed at obtaining a Sanitary and Defecation free Panchayat- consisting of 14,977 people. Despite various Social and Cultural constrictions- where it’s deemed highly unjust if a father in law and the daughter access the same bathroom. The organization came across several hardships- in bringing a behavioral and mental change among the population rather than simply constructing ‘latrine’ models on government funds.
